AWS Class ERNiCu-7 SAW & Flux is a nickel-copper alloy welding consumable designed for excellent corrosion resistance, especially in seawater and marine environments. Its typical composition includes nickel (65–70%), copper (29–33%), with small additions of iron, manganese, and titanium for enhanced weldability. The alloy exhibits tensile strength of approximately 480–620 MPa, yield strength around 170–345 MPa, and elongation of 30–45%. When paired with suitable flux, ERNiCu-7 provides smooth weld beads, low spatter, and outstanding resistance to stress-corrosion cracking.
